Terms of use

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms cover your use of YourView, called Your View IPTV on the App Store. YourView is made by Thomas Wesselink in the Netherlands ("we" and "us" below). By using the app you agree to these terms. Your license to use the app comes from Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, and these terms add to it.

A player, not a provider

YourView is a media player. It plays the playlists and logins you add, much as a web browser opens the pages you visit. It comes with no channels, playlists or other content. We don't host, sell, provide, recommend or link to any content or provider, and we're not affiliated with any IPTV provider.

Everything YourView shows comes from the sources you add: the streams, and the channel names, logos and guides that come with them. We don't see, check, monitor or approve any of it, and showing it doesn't mean we endorse it. Names and logos belong to their owners.

What you add

Plans and payment

Using the app

You may use YourView for your own, non-commercial use, on Apple devices you own or control. Don't resell or redistribute it, or use it to run a service for others.

YourView includes open-source software, each part under its own license. They're listed in Settings, under About, in Open-source licenses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licenses.

No guarantees

We work to keep YourView reliable, but we provide it as it is, without a promise that it will always work or suit your purpose. This doesn't affect your rights as a consumer.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for:

Our total liability is limited to what you paid for YourView in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury, intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Claims against us

If you break these terms or the law, for example by watching content without permission, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you're responsible for that claim and the reasonable costs it causes us, as far as the law allows.

Changes to the app, and ending

We may change YourView's features to improve it, or to keep up with Apple's systems, the law or security, and we may stop offering it. If a change makes YourView clearly worse for you, you keep your rights as a consumer. You can stop using YourView at any time.

Copyright

YourView doesn't host any streams, so we can't take content down. Questions about a stream go to the provider that serves it. For anything about the app itself, contact us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when YourView, the law or Apple's rules change. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using YourView and cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. If you keep using YourView, the new terms apply.

Law

Dutch law applies to these terms. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of the laws of your country that can't be set aside by agreement, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
